Supported Independent Living
A place you can call home. Our shared living arrangements at the FIDS Gold Coast and Logan centres offer assistance for our residents to feel supported in completing daily tasks while building their skills. We have created a safe and happy place providing disability services filled with warmth and care.
Short Term Accommodation
A safe place for a break or simply a change in scenery. We provide full disability support services to our short-term residents, including a full meal plan daily together with fun and engaging activities. Our NDIS support services offer complete personal care for our short-term residents which is the ideal respite.
Day Services / Group Support
A day centre that offers fully supervised social interaction with others in our community. This is one of the most popular on our NDIS services list, which allows our clients to get out and develop new skills in a safe and caring environment. Daily activities include art, craft, gardening and sports.
Support Coordination
Our expert support coordinators can help you to navigate the range of NDIS services in Queensland to ensure that you receive the support you deserve. Support coordination helps our clients to gain access to disability services which can aid in skill development and learning for a more independent life.
Community Access
Community access is a big part of life for everyone. With the support of the caring team at FIDS, we can help you to make inroads into the community – whether it’s through volunteering, finding part-time work or enjoying your favourite sport in person. Our team is here to lend a helping hand.
Saturday Rec
A fun and interactive environment for our clients to enjoy their Saturdays. Saturday Rec is a 6-hour program that visits all kinds of inclusive venues for our clients to experience while building important social and development skills. Activities include ten pin bowling, wildlife centres, movies, picnics and more.
School Holiday Support
Our school holiday programs are offered for kids aged 6-12 and 12+ years. Fun activities are a great way for kids to engage while learning valuable development and social skills in an inclusive and caring environment. We offer small group settings which allow us to provide full support in customised and caring ways.
In Home Support
Our NDIS services which facilitate in-home support include a wide variety of activities. From helping with daily chores to coaching essential life skills, our team of qualified, professional support workers can provide a complete range of disability services in the home with a plan that is tailor-made for every unique situation.
NDIS School Leavers Employment Support (SLES) program
The SLES program is one of the NDIS services which is designed to assist recent school leavers with finding employment. Our trainers will work to connect you with various employers and will provide complete support throughout the application, interview and hiring process.
